@tank5104 The anime came first. It is the original source material. The manga is a adaptation that was created from the basic premise of the TV series, sort of like a comic book based off of a cartoon. The direction that the manga went in and its ending have no bearing on the anime, which had its own story and ending.In short, the anime's story is complete. There will be no second season unless the original creators come up with a new idea.

one of my favorite animes, made me feel really good inside xD especially towards the end. You just knew that the characters really grew up.
